Hi my name is Wondell Smith Jr and I am a senior attending Brother Martin High School in New Orleans, LA. As an avid golfer I have grown extensively on and off the golf course. Through hard work and dedication I have a 1.8 handicap with a 69 as my best 18 hole round in the Kelly Gibson Junior Golf Tour at TPC Louisiana. I am also a member of The First Tee of Greater New Orleans where I better my game while mentoring younger golfers. Off the course I am an active volunteer at the WWII Museum and Equity New Orleans. I have also participated in local events around the city such as MLK Day and Katrina 10. Being the first of three siblings and 3 year captain I know that I have set a positive influence on my kin as well as my team. I have a a 3.3 GPA with a 27 on the ACT. If I would define myself I am a hard working dedicated young man who is confident and humble. As cliche as this may sound I want to be the best I can possibly be. I believe my future is bright and I want to attend a program that would believe in me while placing me in a position to succeed on and off the course. I am grateful and honored for any opportunities.
