Colin Troxler '15 Recruiting Profile

 I am an outgoing, dedicated, persistent and resilient person, with the passion and love for golf. I currently hold a 3.0 GPA, and I enjoy learning new things every day. Sports have always been a huge part in my life, whether I am competing or watching on the sidelines as a fan. Soccer, baseball and golf was the three sports that I enjoyed competing in the most growing up, until my love and devotion to golf surpassed them all. I won the Player of the Year award in the US Kids tour at ages 11, 12 & 13. In 2013, I captured the title Player of the Year in the Kelly Gibson Golf Tour in my age division. Over the past four years, I have competed in the Arrowhead Jr. Tour and finished successfully each time. I really enjoy competing and being on the golf course every day. It wasn’t until I reached high school when I made the varsity golf team as a freshman that I realized how much I miss being part of a team. My goal is to complete high school with honors, help lead my team in district, regionals and state. I plan to move on and join a university that will further my education and allow me to be part of a golf team, which I know in my heart I can become a big part of and help lead them to a title or two. Fulfilling these goals can only help me become a better person and a greater athlete, and hopefully allow me to help others on my journey to success.
