Miller Maestri '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Miller Maestri from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  I will graduate in May 2016 from The Dunham School.  I am a member of my high school golf team, and we won the State Championship for 2015.  I work with my coach, Todd Anderson, in Sea Island, Georgia four to five times per year. My height is 6’6” and I am continuing to grow into my body.  In 2015, I was awarded the MVP on my team, and was named the District Champion. School is very important to me.  I have a 3.2 GPA, and I am striving to get my ACT score higher by working with an ACT tutor. I plant to take the test again in December.

I think I would be a great fit for your team because I am a leader and I am a very hard worker. I take practicing very seriously because I want to be the best I can be and reach my full potential. I plan to major in business, but I plant to pursue my golf dream of playing as a professional. My coach tells me I have enough talent, but I have to be patient because I am still growing into my body. He describes me as a diamond in the rough meaning that I haven't reached my full potential.
