I hope to continue my golf career in college, I have lettered in varsity golf since I was in 7th grade. During my Freshman year I placed 2nd in the All "A" Regional and lead my team to the All "A" State Tournament. During my Sophomore year I tied for 5th in Region out of a field of 105 players, and lead our team to the KHSAA State tournament. I previously played golf, baseball, basketball and soccer in school, but have dedicated my time to only golf for the past four years. Living on a golf course and working in the pro shop, allows me to work on my game year round. I invest a lot of time improving my game, but it never gets old because of the love I have for the game and I strive to compete at the highest level. I have played competitively on local and state junior tours since I was 11 years old. I won the Greater Owensboro Junior Tour Points Championship for the 13-15 Age Group during both the 2012 and 2013 seasons. During the summers of 2014 & 2015 I played on the KY PGA Junior Tour and was awarded the "Player of the Year" award for 15-16 Age Division and Boy's Open Division, finishing 1st in 12 events and 2nd in 5 events. I finished 1st Place in the 2014 KY PGA Junior Tour Tournament of Champions shooting rounds of 69 & 68 for a 137 two day total. I Qualified for both the 2014 & 2015 Men's KY State Amateur, also had strong finishes in the West KY College Showcase and the Irvin Cobb Championships in 2015 and Won City Junior Male Champion at the Hopkinsville City AM Championships for the second year in a row and finished runner up in the Championship Flight with 3 round total of 218. In 2014, my junior year and playing my 5th High School Varsity season, we finished as Regional Champs and returned to the State Tournament for the third straight year. At the KHSAA State Tournament, I had rounds of 75-75 for two day total of 150, good for 18th place out of field of 156 players. Following the 2014 season, I was Named "Southern Pennyrile Boy's Golf Athlete of the Year". During the 2015 High School Season I have played in 13 Invitational Tournaments, finishing Top 10 or better in 12 events. I won the 2015KHSAA 2nd Region Tournament, shooting a 4 under 68 and participated in the KHSAA State Tournament for the 3rd consecutive year shooting aone under par 71 on Day One, and a 79 on Day two. Good for a two day total of 150 and finishing tied for 29th place individually. I was also named to the 2015 KHSAA All-State Team ranking 14th in the State, and to the KGCA Region 2 "All Region Team".. I have strong academic standards working hard in the classroom as well as on the golf course. I feel that I can benefit any college's golf program with my work ethic both on the course and off.
