Tanner Stewart '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tanner Stewart from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I am a senior and I attend John F. Kennedy High School and have been a member of the varsity golf team since my sophomore year. I am 6 foot 1 inch tall and a well rounded athlete. I  also play soccer and have for many years and currently play on my high schools varsity team. I am a hard working individual who has spent many hours on the golf course and practice range as well as in the classroom. I have a 3.40 GPA and interested in playing golf in college as well as getting a good education while doing what I love. I have not yet decided what I plan to study in college, but I have thought a lot about becoming a dentist.  In the summer, I participated in many tournaments and had many good score and finishes. In the high school season I received 1st team all-conference my junior and senior year, Honorable mention all-metro and 13th place in the class 4A state tournament last year. I am very excited to play college golf, I feel I can make a great impact on a team by producing solid scores and being a positive and motivating teammate. I am a hard working individual and will work as hard as possible to achieve the objectives of my team and my personal golf game.
