Brady Swing 2Personal Statement
My name is Brady Marshall ... I am a senior at Seymour High School in Seymour, IN and will graduate in May 2016.
I have played golf for several years in both school programs and as a part of the various Indiana Golf Foundation junior golf tours. I am very dedicated to taking the next step in hopes of playing golf at the collegiate level. I want to attend a college or university that best fits my academic and career goals while also allowing me to compete athletically at the highest level.
I feel I'm a quality and unique recruit due to my strong academic background, athletic ability, work ethic and leadership qualities both on and off the course. I have high GPA (3.87/4.00) while taking honors and AP courses. While I obviously have athletic ability, my work ethic and dedication to improvement are some of my strongest qualities. I'm a leader on and off the golf course leading by both words and by example ... these leadership qualities were recognized during the 2014 season by my head coach as I was awarded the Leadership Award.
I always represent myself, my community, my school and my team with the highest standards of honesty and integrity. I am goal oriented and willing to work hard and long to achieve my goals. I will ultimately carry all of these traits to the collegiate level and compete to my full capability both on the golf course and in the classroom.
