Everyday I wake up thinking someone, somewhere is working harder than me at improving their game and I use that daily as motivation to make myself a better person and player. i understand that because I didn't start playing golf seriously until the spring of my freshman year in high school that I'm somewhat behind many of the very talented players in my class. However, I have always been an excellent athlete who excelled at every sport I played including basketball, baseball and football. Although I am just beginning to scratch the surface of my potential in golf, I am confident that through hard work , complete dedication and my passionate commitment to the sport I will achieve my dream of playing collegiate golf.
I truly believe my passion and dedication for the game has been a large reason for the tremendous progress I've made over the last three years. in fact, my daily improvement has only made me want to work harder and become more focused. Although I understand that I haven't played a heavy tournament schedule yet and I'm still learning the game I will not only do everything I can to become the best player possible but I will also represent the university in a way that will make everyone proud.
