Since playing golf at 12 years of age I have always had aspirations to play golf in college and as I have continued playing my aspirations to play college are at an all time high. I have had the oppurtunity of playing in the U.S Kids Teen World Championship at Pinehurst. As a freshman I played the two position the highlight for my freshman year was making it to the regional round after posting a 76 at sectionals Then a 74 at regionals. This past year I was honored to receive all conference honors. I hope to have great success my junior and senior year as well. As for the next level I feel my high commitment to academics and athletics in high school can and will benefit me at the next level of schooling and athletics. Being a mild manor kid as well as a hard working determined kid helps separate me from other players. My will to study hard and play hard has made me the kind of student/athlete that my high school values and I can only hope a college and college golf coach sees the same values in me. As much as I want to play golf in college I am also quite aware academics are a top priority to me. But if I could be a student/athlete in the process what a wonderful experience that would be.
Sincerely
Cameron Weikart
