Jacob Price '11 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a HS Junior and have dedicated myself to achieving my goal of playing competitive golf on the college level. I have high expectations for myself in school and on the course. Coming from a family of athletes, I am competitive by nature but also think of myself as a team player and motivator on my high school team. I have been a leader through-out my junior season on and off the course. My coach has depended on me in stressful situations to "get the job done" and I have. I was interested in pursuing a degree in education or business and becoming a teaching pro at some point. However, at this point I have chosen to pursue a pre-medical curriculum and hope to practice one day in the Doctors without Borders program. I am looking for a school which will allow me to grow as a person and as a golfer. I am open to exploring schools across the US but am most interested in those in the Southeast.
