I have been in love with the game of golf ever since the age of three years old. My father has always played golf and without him, I would have never fell in love with the game. During that time, I played golf not very concerned about what I shot and did not really care what the final score was. I was not committed. I played the game with my father and that was it. When I was eleven years old, I decided to take up skateboarding. I just so happened to be very good at skateboarding and loved skating. I told myself I was going to become a professional skateboarder, until I sprained my wrist and ankle. My father told me if I kept hurting myself, I would never be able to play golf. That got me thinking, I thought to myself maybe skateboarding is not my sport. When I was twelve, I decided to start taking golf seriously. I started playing in golf tournaments and shot 95 or above in every tournament. Now, 3 years later, I am a 1 handicap and my average 18 hole score is 73. My ultimate goal is to make it on the PGA Tour. I realize it is quite difficult, but I am an extremely hard worker and I know I can do it. I feel that my junior golf career is going strong. I would love to see how see how well I can compete on the college level.
