Austin Umland '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, my name is Austin Umland, a senior graduating in 2014. I am passionate about golf. I started playing at a young age with my dad and grandpa. I quickly became hooked on golf, taking every chance I had to work on my game at the course.  My dream has always been to play collegiate golf at the highest possible level. I very much enjoy playing and competing with a team. I strive to set a good example for teammates with my work ethic, being the first to arrive and the last to leave at every opportunity. I am a disciplined, hardworking and coachable player. As a member of your team I would bring a drive to succeed. I aim to always try and become the best I can possibly be, striving for perfection in all that I do. I'm always seeking to improve my personal best, while supporting and encouraging my teammates. I am excited to begin my college career as I seek to fulfill my goal of obtaining a business degree. I have a solid GPA and look forward to the challenge of collegiate academics. I believe I have untapped potential and my best golf is yet to be played.
