Personal Statement
For 10 years I played competitive ice hockey during the school year and junior golf in the summer. Two years ago I decided to focus on golf. 2011 is the first time I've tried to qualify for national events and I learned that I have the ability to compete successfully at the highest levels.
My last two national events were a T16 (74,72,73) on Aug 12 at the AJGA Junior Challenge in Beaumont CA and a T31 (73,78,72,77) on July 31 at the Optimist International in West Palm Beach FL. I may be a "late-bloomer" when it comes to tournament golf but I'm a seasoned athlete who is trending in the right direction.
