My name is Humza Hameed and I have been playing golf since I was three years old. I currently attend Gilbert Classical Academy, which is an accelerated school, with a 3.3/4.0 GPA and am 17 years old. My collegiate goals are to graduate with an MBA and win a DI NCAA championship. I want to be one of the best golfers to ever play on a certain college team and prove to myself what I can accomplish. My aspirations are to leave college and try to gain status onto the PGA Tour. I will do whatever it takes to receive my PGA Tour card.
What makes me a good candidate for any DI golf team is my sense of leadership. I love to be a leader and set a great example for everyone else to follow. I also enjoy being the best I can be, no matter what I do, even helping others. What makes me different from other recruits is my character. I am a very outgoing, open, social, affable, and humorous person when it comes to congregating with other people, but at the same time I know when its time to get down to business. I am very athletic as I am fairly good at many other sports, such as football, basketball, and badminton. I have great hand-eye coordination and my touch around the greens is very well executed. I am very focused when it comes to school and I am not afraid to earn a good grade. I will always talk to my teacher when I am in need for help. I am determined to get all A's or at least come very close to it. I also balance school and golf very well as that all my life is. I am a determined athlete.
