Conrad Smith '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Conrad Smith and I will be graduating from high school in 2012. I have been a varsity Golfer for the past three years and plan to play one more year. I won my club championship this past year at anthem country club and hope that this will just be the first of many wins in my career. I began truly playing golf just before my freshman year but I have been playing since I was five years old.My best characteristic is that I am very coach-able and am always willing to put in the effort asked of me and beyond. I am a hard worker and someone who is not afraid to speak in front of a team or take a leadership role. I am open to schools in any area of the country and of any size or structure. I would like to study something relating to engineering, math, or design. I have always had a true desire to play college sports and am willing to do anything required to achieve that. It also does not take long to realize that I have a true passion for golf. I am at the golf course almost everyday trying to improve my game and play over 100 rounds per year. Puting work into this sport is not a problem for me and is something I enjoy. Long hours at the range is just a normal day for me and something that is truly enjoyable when you begin to see the results.
