Mason Light '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mason Light, I am 5'11 and 185. I go to KDS-DAR High School in Grant, Al. I have been playing golf for 6 years and joined the school team my freshman year. I played my first two school matches as the fifth man out of five. I quickly decided that was not for me so with hard work and long weekends, I have been first out of five every match since. I made the All-County team 2010 for Marshall County. My goal to to play college golf and to get the best education available to me. I work hard at practice and I take the game seriously, not to say I don't like to have fun but golf is an honor sport. I would love to be the first golfer ever at my school to go to a Division I school but I want to play and not watch so I am also realistic enough to consider all Divisions. I carry a 3.0 or better in school on advanced diploma as well as being distinguished in math. I am in Honor Society and a couple different clubs at my school. My long story short is... I love Golf!
