I have been playing golf since I was in seventh grade. When I first played the game, it just jumped out at me with tons of excitement. I felt as if this is the sport I wanted to play for the rest of my life. Playing at the collegiate level would allow me to advance in my golf game and compete with others to prove how much effort and hard work I have put into Golf. I know collegiate golf is a once in a lifetime thing, and it could absolutely change my life forever.
I am on a golf team at White Plains High School. I am a leader, being one of the top five varsity players that is trying to lead my team to success this year in winning a state championship. I am a very likeable person, I get along with everyone around me and especially with my coaches. Hard work is in my blood, whether its on the golf course or at home studying for a major test. I work on on the golf course so I can strive to be the best I can be; so I can fulfill my dream of competing in golf my whole life.
School is also a major priority for me. I work hard to keep my GPA up, and I am for sure not going to stop now. I worked hard for my GPA now so I could succeed in college. I also volunteer in many things now such as key club, beta club, history club, and I volunteer at the Center of Concern for people that need help.
I want to go to the college that provides the academics and golf pursuit that I have always dreamed of. I am open to all colleges and hope to find the one that I can find the best players to compete with and best academics to challenge me.I hope to make my family proud, and prove to you that I am the right player for your school.
