Nicholas Schmelzer '16 Recruiting Profile

I love the game and I am happiest when I am on the court.  I am a big picture player, I see the court. look for the opening and get the ball to the open player, or if I'm open I will take the shot.  I have been playing basketball since I was eight, I have played for CYO, recreation league, AAU, and now I am a junior starting on my high school team.  I run the plays the coaches have the team run at practice and I try to rally the team if we are down.  I work very hard in school to get good grades, my personal goal is a 4.0 and I am in 6 honors courses.  When I am not studying I am in the gym shooting or working out.  I believe I would believe an asset to any team, as I am a hard worker, strong player and a good student. And I was selected as Most Vaulable Player on the Varsity team in my junior year.
