I have played basketball since I was 5 years old, and I love the game. I believe I have what it takes to be successful due to my work ethic. I am willing to put in the time it takes to make it to the next level, and to succeed once I'm there. The thing that separates me from other players is my shooting ability. I have spent hours working on my shot, as well as the rest of my game. My 3-point percentage was 40.5% as a junior, while averaging 20.6 points a game. I was the 24-4A District Offensive MVP and was 1st team All-District, 4A Region III All Region, and 4A All-State. I was also named 1st-Team Super Gold by the Beaumont Enterprise for the southeast Texas area.
I am blessed to play for great coaches in a great program at Hardin-Jefferson high school, and they are helping me to get better every day. I am also working on my academics to be the best that I can be. I have a 3.5 GPA, am ranked 19th in my class, and am a member of the National Honor Society.
I am working to realize a dream of mine, to play college basketball at the highest level possible. I want to earn a college degree, while doing something that I love in the process. I am looking for a program that can help me to achieve my goals, where I can contribute both on and off the court.
