Dillon Costantino '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Dillon Costantino and I will be a senior at James Madison High School. What sets me apart from most is that I am willing to do anything and dedicated enough to set aside the time needed to achieve my goals. I've been told by my coach as well as others that my work ethic is one of the best that they have seen. Normally I am the first to enter the gym in the morning around 7 and constantly work on increasing my shot, athleticism, and explosiveness to become a better all around player. I'm very versitile, can play multiple positions when needed and can star in any role or task that I'm given.  I am a vocal leader who communicates and brings lots of energy to practice and games. I'm always encouraging my teammates around me to become the best that they can everyday. I'm a very dominant shooter and have skill at getting to the basket as well. I'm also a tenacious defender and beleive that having a good defense is essential to being a complete all around player. Aside from basketball I take my academic life very serious. Currently I am ranked number 41 out of about 850 kids in my class and am in the top 5% of my class. My GPA is a little over 4.0 and is continuing to rise. I've been brought up by my parents to have the mindset of, "Grades first and Basketball second," so I am a very trustworthy candidate. Im looking forward to being able to further my education while still being able to play the game I've loved since I was a little kid. In all, I am a dedicated and honorable student and athlete who can make a big impact to your team on both the offensive and defensive side of the court. Thanks for your time.
