I am a good candidate for college teams because I have a very high IQ of the game. I am a versatile player who has played and guarded multiple positions on the wing and in the post also. It's that versatility and high IQ that I think separates me and hopefully comes across in my film. You will see me giving up my body to take the charge. You will see me setting up my teammates to score or scoring myself.
I feel that I could play either guard position in college. This summer (2016) I am running with Centex Attack and will be playing primarily point and some shooting guard. I'm a pass-first type of point, so my job is to find our scorers in the right spot. I actually get more joy out of a good assist than scoring. When needed, I can also score in multiple ways from knocking down the jumper to posting up.
My goal is to one day be a coach as I love the game. My high school coach actually let me start doing some the scouting reports in the second half of our season. That's in part due to my knowledge and understanding of the game.
Now academically I am an A/B honor roll student. I've always been on top of my grades and I haven't failed a class. I've always stressed school over sports no matter what.
