My name is Christopher M. Nobles II, and I am a hardworking, self-motivated 5’10” Basketball Point Guard for Cedar Ridge High School in Round Rock Texas. I entered my Varsity Career as a Sophomore in high school I have maintained a 12 point, 8 assist, 6 rebound average and have proven to develop my basketball IQ as the leader of our team. My current field goal is at 50%. My current free throw average is 85%. My current vertical is 38 inches. I make 2-3 steals per game and I was ranked 2nd in the district for defense player of the year. I am a well-rounded individual that motivates my team by being their prime example. I have a kin eye in orchestrating and calling plays in which I unselfishly share the ball and clear paths for my team mates to be effective. I do not have an issue with contact as I comfortable move toward the basket as needed to create point opportunities for myself. I have an unbelievable passing game that keeps my team, our coaches and our fans at awe. I openly encourage my team mates to do well in all areas, and remain accountable. I strive to be the starting point guard during the school season in addition to my all AAU team (Extreme Sport and Pyramid), Wilco and Round Rock sports camps. My motto is, “Stay hungry. Stay humble.” This is now also our team slogan.
I have remained very active in my willingness and desire to be a moral sound leader and trusted team player on and off the court. I have loved the game of basketball and started working to develop my basketball dribbling skills at the age of 2. I was determined to be the best ball handler and all around point guard as I started playing in basketball leagues at 8 years old. My love for the sport became very apparent to my parents, my family and coaches as I worked on my skill level and strengthened my basketball IQ. I push hard and practiced with the mindset focused of greatness. My coaches will agree that anytime there is an opportunity for me to practice individually or in a team driven atmosphere I am 1st one to adhere to the task. I desire to lead my teams to all district, regionals and prove to be the top ranking Point Guard for Cedar Ridge High School, District and even the Nation. I am a model student; my teachers often tell my parents we wish we had more students like Chris in our classroom. I remain respectful and coachable on and off the court. I know that I am prepared to perform on the collegiate level and I will prove to be a great fit for any team that has unmeasurable passion for education, basketball, team, training and winning like I do!
I am active with volunteer efforts for the Wilco and Round Rock basketball league as a player coach for our younger Freshman and Junior Varsity Cedar Ridge teams. I also am extremely active in my faith as I am an active member of the Divine Fellowship Church where I am blessed to say my Father is our Pastor. I am the Vice President of the Divine Youth-in-Action, the lead musician, choir member, former usher and I assist in leading the devotion with opening prayer for our Pastor. I assist in organizing activities for the youth as well as coaching the youth sports activities. I am absolutely proud to say God gave me many talents to use and I desire to use them to the best of my abilities in appreciation for Him.
