Joaquin Pistokache '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joaquin Oshan Pistokache, I live in Mcallen Texas which is 12 miles from the border of Mexico. I am a 6'3, 190 shooting guard who emphasizes a very aggresive game filled with intensity.  I attend Sharyland High School in which I have been the key player for my team as I have been a captain and started since my freshman year and led my team in both points and rebounding each year. Throughout the course of my time at sharyland I have recorded over 1100 points and achieved various other individual achievements such as District New Comer of the Year my Freshman year, 1st team All District, All Defensive First team and All Valley Honorable mention my sophomore year, 1st team All District, All Defensive First Team and RGVBCA All Valley First Team my Junior year. As my senior year is approaching I am looking forward to quite a succesful season and possibly a run at the state final four.  In doing this I have my team constantly training their fundamentals and skill on a regular basis. I emphasize to them the importance of each opportunity we have to get better and take advantage of it.  With all going well my senior year I have that true desire to take my passion, love, and leadership of the game to the next level.  At this point I am willing to consider any offer I may receive and look to highly consider attending any school that may show a strong interest. Whether that school may be large, small, rural, urban...that doesnt play a decisive factor in where I may choose to attend. My first priority for my future school would be to make strong impact even if it is working hard in practice or coming in as a freshman and playing a key role.  I wish to do whats best for the team, however I have that strong desire to be a great player therefore I am wiling to put everything on the line for a quality spot on the team.  I am certainly open to any offers and I am certain that I will do nothing than to play 100% all the time.
