Jordan Moore '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Jordan Alexander Moore. I am 5'11 and a 165 lb point and shooting guard. I have good speed and quickness. I have participated in competitive basketball since I was six years old. In fact, I went to my first basketball camp when I was six years old. This camp was the Carlton Dixon Basketball Camp. This camp was significant to me because Mr. Dixon made the players recite throughout the camp that hard work pays off. I have incorporated this philosophy not only for basketball accomplishments but also for life successes. I believe without hesitation that hard work is the key to success in every area of life. Since my first camp, I have attended numerous basketball camps. For example, Five Star Basketball Camp, "Essentials" Point Guard College and "Think the Game" Point Guard College. I have been the hardest working player on my AAU teams and my high school teams. I am the first on and last off the court. I put forth extra time outside the gym to work on my speed, strength, and explosive power. I also work diligently on my school work. I am a good student and enjoy learning. My favorite subjects are math and science. I am interested in colleges that consider academics important along with athletics. I am a leader on the basketball court, for example I have been selected as team captain for several seasons, as well as being a leader in the class room. It is my desire to play basketball in college. I am open to different types of schools. Although I have not narrowed my major down, I want my education to connect me to the sports industry. I want to play at the highest competitive level possible. I believe I can add my desire, leadership, and ability to a college basketball program and we together can become successful, for hard work pays off!
