I have played competitive basketball since the age of 8. During those years, up until now, I have developed my game in all areas. My strengths include shooting, passing, rebounding, and ball handling. I am the type of player that can contribute in different ways to help my team win. Whatever work that needs to be done to assist in a win, I am the player for the job. My weaknesses are being consistent in offense and defense during every game. With the right coach and college environment, I am positive those weaknesses will move to positive characteristics.
Academics have always been important to me. My parents have taught me that without an education, an individual can only go so far in life. My mother has instilled in me that "the world should be at my finger tips". The world should not dictate when and what I should become, but instead for me to be able to choose my own path. Basketball is just an extra tool that can be used in accomplishing my goal of playing at the next level - college.
Therefore, please consider me as your next recruit for the class of 2017. I promise to work hard and earn my position on your team.
