Daniel Hurst '17 Recruiting Profile

My goal is not only to go to college and to play basketball but it is also to get an education.  An education is something no one can take away from you and is something I value very much.  I am a military child and have lived all over the United States and overseas.  I feel my travels and experience have helped me grow not only as a basketball player, but as an American.  I'm very involved in volunteering at my church and coaching youth basketball.  As for basketball, I want to play at the highest level possible and surpass my own limits.  I know I will not always be the strongest, tallest, fastest, or have the most skill on the court, but I have the basketball I.Q. and discipline that will help me out think any other player on the court and compete with anyone in the country.
