High School:
My goal is for my team to go to State this year. Another goal is to play college basketball and earn a degree in KinesiologyExercise Science/Pre-Physical Therapy. My passion is to play basketball at the next level, in hopes that it will help pay for my college education and maybe even further my basketball into NBA. I'm a hard worker academically and in basketball. I work hard to maintain a high GPA. I spend numerous hours in the gym to improve my game.
I am a 4-year letterman starter. I had the highest in 3 point plays made my freshman year. I had a season high of 36 points my sophomore year. Then I moved to Burkburnett my junior year and transitioned very well. I had a season high of 34 points. I was the second highest scorer in 3-pointers and 3rd highest scorer for our Area. I am a great team player, leader, and hard worker. I strive to be a leader and role model to my peers. I am also very involved in my community and church. I believe hard work and commitment will pay off one day and I want to help change people's lives. I also love spending time mentoring and encouraging younger children.

Playing Ability: Chavaz is a terrific athlete with excellent explosion. He can dunk the easily off two feet with two hands and is extremely quick and fast.
Personality: Wonderful kid who really works hard and lives in the gym. I think he also has a tremendous upside to his game and will only get better and better.
Coach Brandon Smith, [email protected]
Playing Ability: Chavaz has very good athleticism. He has a very good work ethic which has greatly enhanced his athletic ability. I still remember him telling me how bad he wanted to be able to dunk a basketball. He accomplished his goal of dunking a basketball the summer before his junior year. I coached Chavaz his first two years of high school. He was able to not only make our varsity as a freshman but he also held his own against the upper classmen.
Personality: Chavaz is not only a good basketball player but he is also a very good person. He almost always has a smile on his face. One of the things I have loved about watching Chavaz grow up is how he has become a "coachable" athlete. He has really matured in this aspect which has greatly benefited his game. Chavaz also does an outstanding job in the classroom. He is not a student athlete that would ever be in danger of failing or getting into trouble. Chavaz comes from a good family and his demeanor would be welcomed on any team.

Chavaz is a very confident shooter and has a great range from the three point line. He also isn't afraid to play physical. He finishes through contact and will go to the line and knock the free throws down. He can finish at the rim and can create big plays for the team.

Chavaz Jackson is an amazing athlete, I've had the honor to play with him for a couple of years and to see someone with that "killer mentality" is amazing. I've really enjoyed playing along side him, he's always had my back on the court and he's all about the team. He'll do anything it takes to win, whether or not its him scoring, or rebounding, or dishing out dimes for other players to score. He puts his team first that's just the type of player he is.

Chavaz Jackson can be plainly described as an ultimate competitor. He is very persistent and will keep working hard until he is the best that he can possibly be. He is a very outstanding three point shooter and he also is very aggressive and isn't afraid of drawing contact to get hisself to the free throw line. Chavaz also is a hard worker and is very eager to get better and wants constructive criticism so he can improve. Besides that he is an all around great kid.
