Brandon Cheairs '14 Recruiting Profile

This is my 2nd year for the North Side Basketball Team: My position is the 4 and 5 which is power forward and center. And basically my task is to rebound and blocks shots and is known for a great finisher around the rim. That is one of my strengths because of my long arms I am able to rebound,block shots,and occasionally shoot. I am a team player because that's what it's all about. As a young child playing for the 9-12 year olds I didn't understand the concept of how to handle a ball, but through the years of learning fundamentals, and hard work, I was able to become a team player. I have played AAU basketball for the Hub City Magic team for (3) years, and have learned alot as well as had fun. I traveled with my Mom to various cities, the longest trip we took was to Atlanta GA, where we placed 2nd place out of 16 teams. I am very determined and willing to learn more in the field of playing basketball, I hope to one day maybe be in the NBA, my Mom often tell me that I see you on tv when she watch the sport channel. My grades in school are A's and B's; staying focus is a must for me and making sure that my attitude is good. I will make a good candidate due to my attentive attitude and willingness to do what is needed of me by my team.
