- We are a nationally-ranked postgraduate basketball program based here in Rock Hill, South Carolina just off the campus of Winthrop University. Believe Prep is ran under the leadership & vision of our founder & Head Basketball Coach Tyson Waterman, a former standout player & Hall-of-Famer at Winthrop University. The coaching staff also consists of associate head coach Kevin Jackson and assistant coach Jackie Green. Here at Believe Prep, we bring talented young basketball players from all around the country & world. These kids are recent high school graduates who may need this additional year to grow academically and/or as basketball players. We play a national schedule that can range from 40-50+ games per year. This allows the kids to gain maximum exposure while working to earn an athletic scholarship to play basketball at a college or university. In addition, the players take SAT Prep to work towards improving their test scores to qualify academically for the collegiate level. Believe Prep Academy is affiliated with York Prepartory Academy of Rock Hill, SC. Home games & classes to place there.
