Heading into the final year of high school and beginning the recruitment process is very exciting! I am continuing the process of defining my college, touring campuses and attending camps. My involvement with sports continues to peak my interest in the Exercise and Sport Sciences majors. I am considering careers in physical therapy, athletic training, fitness director, coaching, etc. I fell in love with basketball a few years ago and have been working hard to train and improve since. I received "Most Improved Player" awards from my AAU team, Beaufort Team Power, and also Bluffton High School Junior Varsity Team for the 2013/14 season and again this past year with Bluffton High School Varsity Team for the 2014/15 season. My work ethic and dedication to learning allows me to be a strong player. I choose to respect all the advice and coaching given to me and I intend to continue my commitment to improving my skills!
Both teams that I belong to have high standards for developing character along with skill. In addition to my height advantage of 6'11", and skill, I have leadership qualities and demonstrate pride, loyalty and passion for basketball and life. I am comfortable being around and having conversations with adults, children and peers. I have a good sense of humor am well liked and have earned the respect of those I am with. I am close to my immediate family and enjoy spending time together. My parents are very supportive of my interests and involvement in basketball and are helping me to make positive and independent choices about my future. I am really looking forward to my college career and the opportunities that will bring to me so that I can continue to become a well rounded and productive adult.
