Fredrickus Brown '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a hardworking student athlete. I work hard in the classroom and I am relentless on the court. I have a desire to excel and will not stop until my mission is complete. I have a winning attitude and I am also a great leader.

I have played on Varsity since my freshmen year and became a starter my sophomore year. I am a Power Forward, but mostly the Center of my team. I am 6'7" and 175lbs and not done growing yet. Each year I became a better leader and player. Last season I averaged 10.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks. My field goal percentage was 97% and free throw percentage was 71%. This upcoming season, I will work at increasing my performance on the court.

I also display a great attitude in the classroom. The same work ethic that has made me such a good basketball player has made me a strong student. My GPA is a 2.4 and it will increase by end of year. I am now active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes group and strive to be a positive role model for all at Marlboro County High School.

I am the type of person that will figure out what I have to do to be successful and then I will go about getting it done. There is a lot of talent in my small town, but it seems as if it’s overlooked. I am showing you that I am determined and ready. If you would give me a chance, I won’t let you down.
