Drake Vittitow '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1" 175lb shooting guard from Blanchard, Oklahoma.  I have started on the Blanchard High School varsity team for 3 years and earned 1st Team All Conference 4A last season. I averaged 12.7 points, shot 55% from the field, and 4.8 rebounds per game.  I have a 3.86 GPA and a 25 ACT score.  I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and court.  I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of business or journalism/broadcasting.  I believe my best fit would be at the Division II or NAIA level, although I will absolutely consider high academic Division III opportunities.  Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team.  I have a high basketball IQ, am coachable, a hard worker, and a good teammate. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the court, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.

Since I was young, I have worked hard to get the opportunity to play college ball.  I'm excited to see where the next step takes me!
