I have been a 15 year old varsity starter since my sophomore year in high school. In my 16 year old Junior season I averaged 17.3 points per game and 9.6 rebounds. Although I will not get to play high school basketball as an 18 year old, I look forward to doing so in college. I was selected All-Conference my junior year, and also All-Area second team. I am a very versatile player and can shoot from anywhere on the court. I have many post-up moves I use including my hook shot, which never gets blocked. I have expanded my perimeter game to include the three point shot. My defense is very solid as my videos will show. I look forward to the challenge of good competition and I do not back down from players who are bigger or stronger than I. I have a great work ethic that was taught to me by my parents. They expect me to work hard and achieve. My goal is to shoot 500 shots per day. I love being in the gym. I am very coachable, again my parents expect it. I am young and very willing to learn every aspect of the game. I dream about playing college basketball. I understand getting good grades is important. I know how to study. I have taken advanced placement classes to challenge myself.
Thank You,
Jayden Ferguson
PS Please check out two sports articles that were written about me and the games I played in. They are under Press.
