Hello,
My name is Martaye' W. Sembly. I am a senior at Wayne Christian High School, Goldsboro, NC. Since I first stepped on the court at the age of four, I've have been aspired to play at the collegiate level. I am a very coachable player and strive to be one of the hardest working players on any team I am a part of. I have a strong basketball IQ. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I have good ball-handling skills. Excellent shooter!
Off the court, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I volunteer at my old middle school with my dad to help mentor the younger players coming up in youth basketball. I also help run the intramural program for the third through eighth grade. I am currently a member of our church choir and the Youth Ministry.
I want to attend a college or university where I can push myself in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college with the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all peers and make my family proud.
