Parris Manning '12 Recruiting Profile

  My Name is Parris Manning and i am a senior at Union Pines High School. I am from Nurnberg, Germany, due to my father being in the military, but moved to the United states when i was 16. i was always eager to move to the United States because of opportunities such as college, basketball, being close to my family and eventually starting a family of my own. i am ready to move on to the next phase in my life and that is recieving a college education at a strong college program, and playing basketball . I have a strong work ethis and love setting goals for myself. This work ethic allows me to overcome tough obstacles and achieve the goals i've set. I want to major in African American studies, or Sports Management, i hope to find a seuccessful college that will help me successfully pursue my dreams in the classroom, on the court, and mostly of all in the community.
