Damien Patterson '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Damien Patterson and I am  senior in high school. I am 6'2 165 pounds and have been playing sports since the age of 6. I have played baseball, football and basketball. I favor basketball but consider myself a very athletic person and a great team player. I hustle and push myself to ensure the success of the team. I work very hard and push my teammates to do the same. As captain of my highschool basketball team I lead the practices and focus on lay ups and push ups and instruct them how to excute plays well. I would love to continue to use my leadership and team building skills in college and beyond. I would love to go to school somewhere on the east coast close to my hometown New York. I like small classes where I can focus and help as needed but I am open to any college that I can earn a degree to take me to the next level. My family although small would not be able to fully support my college career so I would like to have any financial assistance possible to ensure I get the best education and play an athletic sport. I am interested in pursuing a degree in Business Management because I would like to own my own business. I want to participate on a basketball team that I could bring my leadership skills. I just love being apart of a team and help them win.
