My long term goal is to pursue a career in sports business or management. My mid-range goal is to graduate high school with a 3.5 or higher and to attend a college that gives me the opportunity to challenge myself academically as well as athletically (basketball specifically). My short term goal is to win as many regular season games as possible and then play in the state tournament. I am passionate about basketball. I am an unselfish, energetic teammate. I perform well under pressure, but I don't look to be the star. I work as hard at helping my teammates be their best as I do at improving my own game. I am not afraid to fail. I try to push myself to excel even if it means not being perfect at that time. One of the unique things about me is that while I play as a post on my high school team, I know that I am more physically suited to play as a guard or wing at the collegiate level. I will be eager and excited to work as hard as I need to in order to learn that position. Playing forward has given me a great perspective on what it takes to be an excellent perimeter player.
I come from a big family with 3 brothers and a sister and we all have accomplished things in different areas. Growing up, there was always a challenge available. I could never take myself too seriously or think that I was "all that" without one of my bros or sis calling me out on it. Academically I have a sharp memory and can get my work done quickly especially when I'm focused.
