When I go to college, basketball is huge for me. At the same time, education is huge also. Becoming a pro athlete is a rare opportunity not everyone gets, so it is crucial that as I am getting a chance to do what I love in playing basketball. I am also getting a good education to be successful on and off the court. In regards to basketball, I am one of the most competitive people out there. I love winning and hate losing; everyone can say that. How many people say they hate losing so much that they want to do anything and everything to make sure it doesn't happen again? I know I can. My good sportsmanship is always noticed by players, coaches and fans. I am a very charismatic person and get along with nearly everyone. I would rather see my team succeeding than myself succeed. I remember times when I would get in the car after a game we lost and my mom would look at me and say you played great there wasn't much else you could have done. I would look at her and say I could have gotten enough points for us to win. To me, the only stats that matter in basketball are the scores at the end of the game. With that said, I also am a very positive person. I've been told I try to bring the best out of people. If someone is down, I want to be the one that brings them back up because I would like to think they would do the same for me. Teammates are family no matter what the circumstances; we are all in it together. In the end, we all have one goal: to succeed!
