2013-14 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I just finished my senior season at Holy Cross High School. I've started every varsity game for the last 2 years, and we won division championships each year. This year, I was a captain of our team.
I want to continue to play in college. I know that I can provide a lot of value wherever I go. I'm a team-first player, who does a lot of the little things to make my team better: I set screens, box out on every shot, play tough defense (and help d), have a variety of post moves with both hands, pass well out of the post, can handle the ball, have good range on my jump shot, and see the court very well.
My high school team is not very big, so I typically play center. I'm generally guarding guys bigger than I am, though I'm comfortable guarding anyone on a switch. I'm big on our team scoring, and don't care if it's me or a teammate that does it. I am likely to finish a game with nearly as many rebounds and assists as I have points.
I hope to find a college where I can play basketball, and pursue my education. I'm not certain what I want to do with my life, but I do hope that I'll be coaching basketball as a part of it.
