Daniel Arias '10 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Daniel Arias I am a 6'3 215 senior at Tonopah High School in Nevada. My sophmore year of high school, my junior varsity teamates and I went undefeated goin 12-0. I was starting and a co-captian that year. I also played three years of junior high basketball and I started two of the years. I've been playing basketball just about all of my life, competively for seven years.I can bring leadership, hard work ethics, full determanation and dedication, and my willingness to win. To show my dedication to play basketball, I live eighty miles away from my high school one way and staying after school for practice gets me home at about nine o'clock at nite and back on the bus at six the following morning. I've not completly made up my mind where I want to go to college but I would prefer to stay in the west region of the country. Although I was raised in a small town(pop. 500)I would like to go to a bigger school where there is more opportunity and challenges. I wouldn't mind starting at a community college, the reason being that my father was recently laid off and money is tight, but my dream is to go to a university and I know I can work towards that. I havent decided on my major quite yet. My goals are to play as a freshman and work hard for the team and play to my fullest potential and make an impact on the team for continued years.
