Hi Coach! To me, being a basketball player is not only about putting the ball through the net, it is a life style composed of hard work, dedication, and the will to push yourself beyond belief and succeed in all challenges that arise. Maintaining a high cumulative GPA of 3.7 and being the number one student in my class has been my goal since the first day of high school. I am planning on going into Pre-Med for my field of study and then from there going on to become some sort of a surgeon but I have not totally decided because I am trying to keep my options open. Being a point guard is not just scoring, it is getting teammates involved, communicating and keeping everyone on the same page, and being one of the hardest working guys on the team. For my Freshman and Sophomore years of high school varsity basketball at point guard I have been the floor general, leading my team to the state championship my freshman year and taking second out of 102 teams, and then last year taking third at the divisional tournament. I want to play college basketball because it has been my dream ever since those days of traveling basketball that started in third grade. I want to play at the highest level I am capable because I will work to better myself and my weaknesses to not only become a point guard, but a leader for your team on and off the floor. Thank You!
