Braden Wendel '15 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Braden Wendel. i am currently a Senior at Jackson High School in Jackson, Missouri. I've been playing organized basketball since 2nd Grade, but I also played Soccer, Football, and Baseball for most of my childhood. This past summer I competed on the AAU Circuit with St. Louis Gateway Basketball Club and competed in the Adidas Uprising League. I am getting ready to start my 3rd season as a varsity basketball player. The past two years I have been lucky enough to be apart of back to back Class 5 Quarterfinals appearances, and played an important role on both of those teams. I consider myself the leader of the team and work to push not only myself but my teammates to make the team as good as it could be.

On the court, I pride myself on my defense and my ability to guard just about anyone. My ability to guard smaller, quicker guards, using my quickness and length. And my ability to guard bigger guards because of my height. My biggest strength offensively is my athleticism, specifically my jumping ability and my quickness. I've be working hard everyday to handle the ball better to be quicker with all of my moves and shoot the ball more consistently from any spot on the floor.

I strive to play college basketball at a high level, and like every teenage kids dream, play basketball professionally someday and will work hard to make that dream a reality.
