Ever since I started playing basketball at the age of 5 I realized what a great game this was. Basketball has not only taught me how to run plays correctly but also about myself. It has taught me the hard work and dedication that is needed to be successful in this sport because you can tell the people who fail to work hard in the offseason. I believe that one of the reasons why I am a leader on my teams and am highly respected is my humbleness and I'm not afraid of calling someone out if they are not putting forth their full effort.
This past year for my high school team we district champs and made it to sectionals. However, I didn't get many opportunities to play a ton because of senior heavy team of 8. My coach and I agreed that the best thing for me was to get more experience at the JV level to prepare me for my senior year. I am very excited to find a school that will fit my athletic as well as my academic needs.
