I'm hard working, goal oriented and a team player. I will always strive to do better and work hard to set goals, reach them, and then set new ones. I've been taught from an early age that there will always be someone bigger and better at the game than myself, and there will always be someone else wanting the same position I play. Therefor I don't have an ego or the false idea that I'm the best I can be, setting new goals and constant training is the only way to succeed at the upper level of play I'm intending on playing. As my mom says, I need to treat each day and each game as a gift. A new chance to improve and grow personally as well as with my teammates. I feel I will be an asset to any team because I am willing to learn, improve and encourage others. On the court and off it takes all the players to win or lose.
As for my academic future I'd like nothing more than to obtain a Business Degree. I one day hope to run my own business and give back to the community I've grown up in. The last thing I hope to achieve is to follow in my moms footsteps and when my playing days are done, I'd like to continue to coach the game that means the world to me.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Zayne Engel
