Starting my Junior year of High School I played football and injured my knee. I tore my MCL all the way off, it took me months and months to get back to normal, but the thing was I was trying to get back where I was I was trying to get better. After I was able to return to my regular activities. My new Coach, Coach Schutte started working with me on a lot of different drills to perfect my skills, and my play making abilities. It took me a while to get use to it but I finally got to the point where I became a threat. When all of my trainers told me that I can become one of the greats, I felt like I needed to work harder to try and make all of my dreams come true. This led to me being the only junior in my conference to receive Honorable Mention over seniors, but that's only the beginning. As I enter into my last year of playing High School Basketball I am determined to get Honorable Mention All Conference and All State. My Senior Year I averaged 17 points per game, along with 11.0 rebounds. At the end of my short season, after being knocked out in the first round. I was named 1st Team All- Conference and Honorable Mention All-State, also was the league MVP/ Most Improved. I also got national recognition and was picked to play for the USA Junior Nationals Team.
