Personal Statement

I am a 6'3" 185 lbs. Senior (2016) shooting guard from the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. Featured above are just a few of my highlights from the 2014-15-16 Varsity Seasons and 2014 fall league with Milan High School.

I am a National Honor Society student and scored a 29 on my ACT. I am in the top twenty of my graduating class and have a 4.0 GPA.

Last season, my Milan High School team made it to the final four before being knocked out. It was a great experience to play in the Breslin Center (Michigan State University).....and to compete and succeed in a very strong basketball program. I am a highly- skilled shooter and avid student of the Pro Shot System. Since the seventh grade I have been working with NOAH and the GUN. This offseason, like the last, I was able to log close to 10,000 makes. The positive results of this are in numerous occasions, hitting the first shot I take. In a Milan HS game last season, I went 3 for 3 from beyond the arc coming off the bench in the third quarter.

I love playing team defense. I understand that great defense leads to easy offense. I would like to play in a program that excels in team defense.

I would like to major in Kinesiology or Exercise Science and work as some form of an athletic trainer or strength and conditioning coach in the future. I enjoy learning about leadership and I am confident that I will find the right school fit.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
