I've been playing basketball for 11 years and it has always been my goal to play college basketball as well as receive a good education. I also want to attend a college that fits me both academically and athletically. For me being part of a team means you work to make people around you better and sacrifice. I am a natural leader on and off the court so I find this to be something I do as much as possible. I do community service often through Rising scholars and the Ann Arbor Youth Foundation Program. I am willing to work hard in practice and on my own time to become a better player and a better teammate. I am very focused on my academic and athletic life as I spend time working on basketball as well as school work. My parents have taught me that a good balance is important and being a scholar athlete is an honor. I spend a lot of time working on my basketball game and even more time on school to make sure I keep good grades in my accelerated classes. This is my second year as a starter and I was named a team captain this season.
