Coat Drive a. Also through P.A.D.S I participated in a clothing drive. The coat drive was similar to a thrift store except the items were free and people could get a certain amount of items such as books, coats, toys etc. 3. Community Service (Volunteer) a. Grade 10 (during the school year) b. I was the assistant coach for First and Second Graders in a recreational basketball league. It was a lot of fun teaching kids about the game that I love. Work Experience 4. Three Broke Guys a. Grade 12 (summer) b. Executive Management c. My friends and I started a business called, "Three Broke Guys". This past summer we made over $ 2,000. It was a great experience that taught me a lot about communication, organization, and advertising. We got our name out there by going door to door with a flyer we made and we sent emails to neighborhood families. d. Time spent: 10 weeks in the summer and soon we will distribute our fall flyer. 5. SP Tech a. Grade 11 (summer) b. Employee c. I worked at a pool and spa company. My tasks consisted of pool and spa maintenance for private home owners. d. I was in charge of my own team of guys and we were tasked with pool excavation, cleaning and servicing. 6. Kudzoo a. Grade 12 (Summer – August) b. My cousin Trevor started a company that allows students to earn rewards for getting good grades called Kudzoo, and IPhone App he created. I interned for a month this summer. He taught me what it takes to start your own business and the approach/tactics he used to be successful. A lot of our communication took place through email, and over the phone. Considering that his company is in the form of an IPhone app it gave me a really cool outlook on entrepreneurship and upcoming modern companies.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
