I often wonder, as many people do, why certain things happen. In our journey through life we are faced with challenges that simply prepare us for future endeavors. Suffering an injury at the end of my junior season left me with the question of "Why". Determined to start and finish my senior season successfully, I set my goals accordingly. Off season surgery and rehab, along with personal drive and motivation, I was able to accomplish this goal. As a team captain I wanted to leave my team with the will to win, the love for the game, and the desire to become successful. My dream is now to contiue my basketball career while working to obtain a degree in the field of engineering.
