Patrick Bossetta '16 Recruiting Profile

I first stepped on the basketball court in seventh grade and fell in love with the game. I've worked as hard as physically possible to become better and better. I particularly love to play defense, but have greatly improved shooting and driving to the goal. I go through people to the rim and never back down from any player no matter how big or athletic. I was a starter on the varsity football team on special teams in eighth grade and a starter freshman year.  Basketball was my weaker sport, but through countless hours of time in the gym I became a rotational player freshman year for the varsity basketball team and became a starter this past year as a sophomore. I am willing to do whatever is the best option for the team and don't care about personal glory. Whatever my coach needs is what I do.

I maintain a 3.5 GPA in honors classes and listen to my teachers when they say something. I'm very disciplined in the classroom, as well as the court. I realize my education is the biggest priority in college and appreciate all my parents have done for me to get into a great high school. Now it is my job to get into a great college. Coming from a heavy military background I have been taught discipline and respect throughout my life. I do what I have to do, stay out of trouble, and think through consequences of my actions.
