Talon McFarland '13 Recruiting Profile

      I am the type of player who will give my all out effort to help my team reach success. I am an all around athletic player who is interchangable in most positions. I am a complete versatile player who can score in many ways and can pressure a defense well. On defense i can scrape up needed steals and turn them to smooth offensive fastbreaks. I can also shut down star guards from the floor. On both offense and defense i like to dictate the pace of the game. On offense i can score in many ways such as, knocking down open shots, pull up jumpers, post work and dribble drives. As a solid reliable freethrow shooter i drive the lane get some contact and finish to get it done at the freethrow line. In 10 years I see myself doing what I love to do while making a positive impact on those around me. My goals are to become the most complete and well rounded ball player I can be. My dream is to one day be known for more than just being a great athlete, role model, active member in my community and one who someone can look up to.  I will put the effort in day in and day out to reach my goals and dreams. My favorite baskeball player is Larry Bird.
